what’s the pitch playing like? anything dodgy going on – swinging, turning square, uneven bounce, that sort of thing?

A smidgen of turn out of the footmarks for Swann, but nothing spectacular. It’s clouding over a littler, so may be some swing if Broad can get his shizzle together (As Henry would no doubt put it)

So it could be interesting then, particularly if your chaps haven’t remembered how to bowl again 😉

Looking at the weather forecast for the Rose Bowl, I suspect we may not get that much play this morning…Still, that leaves plenty of time for more TMS waffling! 🙂

And indeed there has been some top level waffling so far! Loved Mark Nicholas’s anecdotes about Hampshire. I got rather drunk in the Cowherds chatting with Robin Smith and Alan Lamb once. Boy they could drink!
