Crowdfunder to update the pump track in Victory Park, Cainscross near Stroud.

Whilst the headline is £10k, if you read down they only need to get to £5k due to matching. I thought posting here might help bring to the attention of other local people who want to chip in.

My lad and his mates (and me!) occasionally ride the 30 mins it takes to get there to enjoy the current lack-lustre selection of bumps. Proper pump track would be amazing!

A serious, trying not to be a fun sponge, question. How will the on going costs be paid? Our insurance, and those of a lot of other tracks, has gone from <£1k per annum to quotes ranging from £3.5-£8k.
It’s becoming harder and harder to raise funds.

I have no involvement beyond occasionally riding there and then seeing a story about the planned update and crowdfunder on the BBC News. So I’ve no idea about funding ongoing insurance. Council are involved so maybe it is covered that way?

Now over £8.5k, including the £5K matching funding, with a couple of weeks to go!
