Spotify search function ..can’t seem to get it to work

just opened an account but am having trouble working out how to use it properly as there seems very little info. maybe it’s just me being thick but also i’m having no luck with the search button. I’m only using the free version if that makes any difference. Anyone else had problems ?

Ok yes..I saw that but what I meant was clear detailed instructions…although I expect it should be intuitive. Still can’t get the search to do anything apart from when I click on it the page maximises!

Doh…….just found out why…..I was trying to click on the search icon which does nothing. For anyone else having trouble you need to press the return key!
