Anybody purchased from them?

I've noticed they have some great deals on Ion clothing and very tempted.

Can anyone shed any light on them? Service standards, delivery time etc.....

Cheers

Great. Fill yer boots. Delivery times are often extended due to their purchasing and sales model but you'll get an estimated date when you order.

They'll do refunds but it can be difficult swapping out wrong sizes as they don't stock anything.

I could post a link that gets me a referral fee but that would be naughty

Yes. Prices good, service fine, delivery slow (they normally tell you when typical delivery is and it's normally at least a few weeks).

I guess they're not a UK company then?

Just wondering why it would take a few weeks on delivery?

I'm thinking if they're a UK company dispatch times should be pretty quick?

They don't stock stuff. They wait until they know what they can sell, then buy just that before sending it on to the customer. That's how they sell so cheaply.

I don't think I've ever waited more than a month. Usually it's quicker. It depends how near the end of the ordering window you are.

Right, ok, cheers for that.

Will bear that in mind when ordering.

It's basically a big groupbuy

Don't see an issue using this company. Their business model seems to offer a good price, decent brands and clear delivery dates . I 've ordered many times and they have never let me down. Sometimes the items come sooner than stated.

Richard

I've used them quite a lot and had no problems at all. They do give an estimated date of delivery on the page.

Always price check. A lot of what they sell is now end of line and after you take postage into account Merlin etc can be cheaper for the new version (one of the go pro deals a couple of months ago was the cheapest for the advertised version, but Amazon had a newer version for £10 less, post free)
That said the often have some great euro brands that are not sold in the uk, especially the Scandinavian outdoor clothing and base layer brands

It's more that they're an agent for the manufacturer or distributor - who wants to dump unsold stock at a low price.

Their listings don't show up on Google because the site has a log-in process. This is perceived to be less damaging to the brands than if anyone could find out how low they sold off some stuff.

Of course not everything on there is a billy bargain!

They do do that but that's not the main model. If they did that it would be in a ware house waiting to go, you wouldn't need to wait until after the end of the Sale for delivery. Most of what they do is getting it made after you've ordered

I've just had a slightly awkward time getting a Gillet, Its taken about 6 weeks. basically the supplier took longer than expected to supply the products. I was then away so i had to tell them to keep it until I was back home

But they were easy to keep in touch with and I never dopted things would be sorted out

Used them a few times and happy. Had to return some trainers once and the refund was quick. Currently waiting for some Yurbuds venture headphones.

Do they take the money at point of purchase or when they dispatch?

They do end of line sales too, which is why my new Haglofs jacket only took 2 days to arrive and they still seem to be selling them.

Have waited a few weeks for their stuff before but as long as you know there's a wait it's not a problem.

Yep... I've just got one of the cheap Norwegian down jackets - (think it was around 40 pounds) delivered ...fantastic for the money well made and just great.....

They seem to get some good stuff in tbh.

Used them a few times. No problems what so ever. Sometimes the delivery date can be a while after ordering, although they are upfront about it.

I've had a few things turn up that I'd forgotten about. It was like having a surprise gift from an anonymous admirer, all be it one you paid for yourself.

Actually just had a few Ulvang base layers delivered this morning, bought for far less than half price! Really can recommend them if you don't mind a wait for delivery.
