I am buliding up a Pitch frame and can see that all cables go along thc down tube but when it comes to tch front mech cable there doesnt seem to be a natural stop for the outer cable?

Do I run the outer cable all the way up to the plastic bit near the front mech that the inner cable goes through?

Also does the Front Mech cable go alongside the brake cable or the other side?doesnt matter?

    Tips?

    Thanks

Yep full outer for all cables, route them down the downtube with gear cables either side of rear brake hose.

Hi Kwack, there is a hole underneath where the r/h chainstay and the main pivot meet. It is quite difficult to see as there is a lot going on in that area. The outer feeds through from underneath and the inner pops up through a little hole on top. I will check it when I get home on Sunday and clarify if needed. Good luck.

Yes please – I can see the hard bit of plastic that is thbe like that is about 3cm or so and ends up being soft rubber at the top> I can see that the cable will run through this.

At the bottom it is not wide enough to take an ouiter with an end cap on – do I remove the end cap and feed in?

    Thanks

Hi kwack sorry I didn’t get back to you on Sunday. I have looked at my Pitch again and you need to run the cable underneath the bottom bracket and up into the HOLE in the swingarm/chainstay. The cable and the end cap should fit in easily. IIRC I fed the inner cable through the hole first (the inner should have lots of extra length) then pushed the outer up into the hole next. I don’t know what the tube like thing that you described is. Hope that helped. Jono
