made by sketchers and designed to simulate walking on sand or something silly like that.

    3 questions really:

    1)will i die?
2)can i throw away the healthy eating plan now i have special shoes?
    3)is the magic number

    xx

“Ha Ha, Phil’s wearing special shoes”

Are children still as cruel now as they were in the 70’s and 80’s.

You just know that the for the majority of these shoes, the most strenuous activity they will ever to be called on to perform is the 10m dash from the couch to the kettle during the ad break of “Corrie”

I do hope so, kids being little ‘es aitch one tees’ is one of the things that put the Great in Great Britain.

    lol ‘special shoes’ indeed! 😆

i go through normal skate shoes pretty quickly so figured by wearing these at work/situations where i dont need to look pretty it’d stop me wearing through skate shoes at a rate i can’t afford.

if it helps my core then bonus basket, if not then i haven’t lost anything…. the only other man i’ve seen wearing them was a doctor so i’m hoping he invites on his boat for cocaine filled orgys as part of a secret special shoe club or something!

becuase i’m not an overweight woman with foot odour issues who’s given up on the idea of ever being attractive to another person again having long since made it clear to my now dead inside husband that sex was off the menu after he signed the marriage certificate. thats why 😛

I used to wear MBTs all the time. I have a foot pain problem and they were recommended by my consultant as they take the weight off the heel. When I was working in the bike shop, I’d have been unable to do a dull day on the shop floor without them. They do take a bit of getting used to and you may find you get sore calfs for a while. MBT recommend you wear them only for a short period each day until you get used to them.

I had a look at the Sketchers but the soles aren’t as cushioned as the MBTs, so not really any good for me.

I’ve tried running in the MBTs and that didn’t work out at all – lots of pain in weird places, including ankle and hip.

 26 years old eh, well a young nipper like yourself should be out down the disco, getting your groove on with the girls surely? the quality of the girls increases proportionately with the likelyhood of your being turned away for wearing such beasts.

Phil – I think you should use the heafty soles on your new sneaks to kick some style into thomthumb.

For ages my wife wanted some Reebok Easytone trainers (similar kind of thing to the Skechers I think).

Then she read the conclusions of several ‘independent reports’ – turns out that in the real world the shoes did nothing along the lines of what they claimed.

lol i didn’t buy them to tone up my bottom or anything like that

(although if they simulate walking on sand and my bottom ends up like the typical ‘surf girl’ bottoms you see in films then i might end up spending a lot of time staring at my own bottom in mirrors)

cheers justatheory but i’ve got my power balance bracelet and already carry around several brightly coloured crystals in my left pocket to protect me from bird-flu and falling over x

We bought a washing machine at the weekend, and one of the deciding factors was that it had a ‘special shoes’ setting! 😀

Pretty sure that as a fitness aid, those shoes have been completely debunked. If they make you feel good then great.
