Who has been out in the snow/sun/wind/cold/wet/who cares…..?

We had a beautiful walk from home. Within half an hour the snow was getting quite deep.
    Such fun.
Blue sky and fabulous views over to Kinder Scout.

Lunch in a local pub and a stead amble back, mostly downhill.

    Perfect day.

Done over 25miles every day including Christmas Day. Today was one of the highlights of the year. Wandering around the Ridgeway/Wallingford/Wittenham/Blewbury area.
Wet and slippery on the south facing slopes and hard/frozen on the north facing slopes. Made my best mud angel yet by racing into the shadows after being in the sun and was quite surprised by a deep hole full of mud…
So many nice sights today from steaming livestock to frozen ponds.
After being covered in mud and then washed in muddy puddles and then the cycle repeated the bike is now making very strange sounds from the brakes.

    Oscar’s first swim and snow

Got him in eventually and he loved it despite the temperature

Needs to learn to jump properly though

    It was beautiful

Then to The Bridges to warm up and dry out

Oh I don’t live there, that’s the Long Mynd/Church Stretton/Carding Mill valley. About 45 mins on a good run from me. Miss Houns and I have plans to move that way though.

    Oh and thanks,

My days out are normally runs so I dont carry a camera.
Took this handsome little fellow out on his first hilly run around the Clwydians (he is 14 1/2 months old) and he loved it 🙂

Our Christmas morning ritual is a visit to a local grey seal colony to see the pups. This years sunrise was pretty spectacular.

Disappointing lack of activity for most of the Christmas week, but made up for it yesterday with a fab snowy ride on the single speed in the morning…

Been housebound and mostly deaf since Xmas eve with a perforated eardrum and ear infections! But got up this morning to another gorgeous morning and thought I couldn’t waste it. So headed up to the local fell and had a wander around for an hour or so with the girlfriend.

How the dickens do you get them to appear the right way up?!

Sorry only just noticed your post. Its a Ruffwear. Not the cheapest but well made. We keep him quite short but find his undercarriage is always wet and dirty so picking him up meant you got filthy and wet and this has a handle at the top so you can pick him up like a bag 🙂 plus I wanted something that I could lift him over gates/stiles/steep bits when we are out in the hills.
He wears a collar normally but when h comes running I put the harness on and he gets very excited when he sees it!!

Heres a couple from a Wintery ride up the Lammermuir Hills and a trip to the local Bmx Park with my son.
