There’s a chance someone else has been in this situation before.
Came a cropper on a bike holiday insured by Yellow Jersey.
They have offered a transport ambulance to get me to and from the airport. However, my car is at the airport and probably isn’t going to fit in the ambulance with me.
Claim handler has been non committal on this point and time is running out.
Has anyone been here before and they helped out? My passenger can’t drive my company car and even if they could, with all the luggage, I’d struggle as a passenger with my injury.
Should this be a “me” problem, or a “they” problem?
As an aside, with the help of British Airways, the flight has been sorted and saved the insurance company just shy of £2k.
