I can barely believe it
All the recent news has been about having access taken away from us, like at Blackamoor, yet there is a brand new unpublicised bridleway just opened off Ringinglow Road

The footpath at the red circle has just been upgraded
I had spotted the shiny new sign a while ago and rode it this afternoon
There has been work on one of those horse jumpy things to keep MX bikes out and some minor excavation
The BW itself isnt that exciting although its OK but makes a nice change
Of much more interest is a another brand new shiny BW sign in a field the other side of Cottage Lane
It doesnt actually point to much but Im hoping it means a better access to Forge Dam is about to be put through than the awful busy and dull track/BOAT/whatever it is
My main thoughts though are hats off to the council for opening it up and why havent they bothered to tell anyone?
Are there any more 'new' bridleways around they have upgraded recently too?
