    Ok, moved into new houe and there’s no Garage. I’ve currently got five bikes. What size shed should I be looking at? The garden is a postage stamp so have to be realistic here, no 30 x 20 workshops!

    Priorities are;

    1) size – small as possible.
    2) security
    3) Cost

    Currently wondering if a 6×4 will do it, an 8×6 can probably be squeezed in.

    One option might be a single 6×4 and then one of those tin bike storage boxes that get good reviews for the 2 more expensive bikes up on the patio.

    Cheers

    I have a 6×4 that I can just about squeeze 5 bikes in stood on their back wheels. I manage this mainly because they are somewhat differing in size and type (small gf’s bike –> DH bike and in between variants). The main downside is that I have noticed some of the forks (especially RS revelations) seem to disagree with being kept past horizontal, and take about 2 mins bouncing up and down to make the rebound / compression work properly again once i’ve wrestled the bike out of the shed. Obviously, this method of storage also involves a lot of faff if you happen to want the bike that’s at the back….
