Seatpost shims – 30.9 to 31.6?

Can you get a shim that does 30.9 to 31.6 or do they only come in 27.2 or less as the start point? I’m liking the look of the Specialized Commander uppy downy post but they’re only doing it in 30.9 to suit their bikes.

Doubtful, I was told by a manufacturer that shims need to be at least 1mm thick.

could you get one made up rick?

You could buy a seatpost which is available in a more suitable size.

Coke can shim?

easily improvisable as such a small amount – if you have a cut at the back of the seat post insertion tube then it will probably clamp up the extra bit to. Second coke can , inner tube type shim – if you are using a commander should be fine and easy to do as no need to adjust once set
Speedball comes in both sizes BTW
Did not think it was avilable seperately in the UK though.
