Any recommendations for a simple scale drawing app for Android?

Want to be able to draw rectangles to a specific scale, then duplicate and rotate. Something very simple would be ideal. Tried installing a few apps this evening but none let me specify the size of the rectangle. CAD will, but too complicated for the time I have.

Can you just use PowerPoint on a pc? If it’s just 2d and you’re familiar with it it can work well

Graph paper pencil and ruler is what I used. Easy to take plans to the timber merchant and discuss. Easy to rotate.

I use Lucid Chart for work diagrams, there’s a free tier and android app. Lets you stick on a grid background then you can create and duplicate shapes to that scale.

Graph paper and pencil. Cut out some shapes then you can move them around.

I’d go with a web app like smartdraw.com (it even has a decking planning option), I don’t think you’ll find anything simpler that does scale

I used floorplanner.com to do all the initial drawings and working out ideas for our extension. If you just use it as 2D and ignore the 3D side of it then it should be good for a garden.

    Chalk spray in the garden?

    Did three decks like that…

I know Maya really well (use to teach it) but dont have free access anymore.

Smartdraw.com looks good so I’ll try that.

Google SketchUp free for desktop. You’ll need to watch a tutorial for the basics and you need a mouse

home by me (https://home.by.me/en/) is easy to use, not sure if you can do it on a phone though.

I sometimes just use Google sheets as digital graph paper. You can make the cells square by resizing the column widths then use the border or drawing tools.

Autodesk do a free (lightly limited) personal use licence for Fusion 360 that might work out for you if you’re familiar with their other tools and want something that is massive overkill for this.
