A friend has just got themselves a brand new active 12, but apparently it isn’t uploading correctly to strava or endomondo, seems it is only displaying part of the data.

Anyone else using this combo? Is it working okay for you?

    I had a this problem –

When he’s finished a route tell him to ‘convert all to trail and reset’ rather than just ‘convert to trail’.

Then plug it into computer and load up the SatSync software – should then see a few files, one is a .gpx – upload that one to Strava (There may be a couple of gpx files, try them all).

Even though the ‘convert to trail’ option creates a .gpx it doesn’t seem to have all the info in it and therefore important to select ‘convert all to trail and reset’.

Let me know if that works – I was never sure if it was just mine that a bit awkward or if they all worked like this.

I’m running an Active 12 but I tend to use the phone app for Strava. I’ll give it a go later and see what happens.

Well it would seem it was a bug – satmap have fixed with the latest version:

We were aware with a bug in both the tcx and gpx files and this has been resolved as part of a software update which can be downloaded via the SatSync software for windows (http://satmap.co.uk/download-satsync.php) .

You can see the full version history for the device via the following link; http://www.satmap.co.uk/versionhist_active12.php and the version for this fix is the latest – 2.1.9367. This update only prevents the fault from occurring and does not resolve the issue with previous files.
