I kind of feel the other way, I’m not sure that I saw anything to worry me next weekend. England made the French look good. The only weak point I see is the Welsh defending in the 22 and letting the French put points on with drop goals. Wales will have to push the French back.

On that showing Wales will win next week.

Wilkinson is history now. England need to follow the Welsh example and go back to grass roots and build a whole new set up.

Interesting point earlier re 7s. Wales had a strong focus on 7s recently, with the likes of Hook and Davies coming through that. It certainly makes players look for spaces and lines more.

England? Well, the RFU need a long hard look. Appointing a great captain as an international manager? When he had zero experience? Not really the right call, IMO.
