    Hi All,

Anyone got any views as to whether I would notice a significant improvement if I took advantage of Mojo’s offer below?

    http://www.mojo.co.uk/getfit.html

    I currently have 2005 36 R Talas forks.

i’d like to know this, i have a 2009 fox 32 thats due to be serviced and think £199 for the new fit cartridge aswell is pretty good but what are the real world advantages?

I was told via Mojo that the pitch of the thread in the dampner for pre 07 was different. Not quite sure what that means tbh but I was told it would stop me fitting 2011 Kashima uppers to my 06 32 Talas. I would assume this means that you couldnt do the oposite and fit a newer dampner to older forks

*EDIT* Just read the advert and see this is only for the 32s the 36 look as if they are fine. I suppose it all depends on how good your uppers are. If they are worn then you will need new ones @ £179 for the Kashima ones meaning in total you are spending £438. When you start looking at the bigger picture it feels a big investment on a set of 5 year old forks. The reason I got shot of my Talas and bought a set of Rev Teams instead.

Th website says the FIT damper can be fitted to any year 36 forks.

does it also mean if you originaly had an rl fork it would come back an rlc………with fit or still an rl…with fit!! 😕

The uppers are fine on mine, so it would just be the £259.

The way I interpret the ad, it means if you have 40’s the you get an RC2 damper, if you have 36’s then you also get an rc2 damper, if you have 32’s then you get an RLC damper

Is the 2011 FIT damping substantially better than whatever they had in the 36 forks in 2005? Seems like a relatively cheap way of getting 2011 damping ‘technology’ . The question is, is it all just marketing fluff or has there been a significant change in performance between 2005 and now.
