Removing ’09 Fox 36 TALAS RC2 Lowers..

Trying to do this service thing.

Disengaged the TALAS side but the damper side doesn’t seem to want to come free. Have followed the instructions on the Fox site – have removed the two compression damper knobs and put the black bottom nut back on and then replaced the protective cap and struck it, albeit quite gently, several times to free it. Doesn’t seem to want to budge. Any ideas…?

You don’t put the protective cap back on! Just hit the nut when you’ve screwed it on a few times.

Thanks – the Fox site suggests putting it back on with the RC2 version. Anyway, I twatted it and it came free ok.
