If anyone is a 36 or 38 inch waist I highly recommend the Alpinestars Tahoe waterproof trousers, £29.99 on Sports Pursuit at the moment. I do think they are quite small fitting on so maybe suitable for 34 or 36 inch waist usually.

I’m a 30 in waist usually, but had to go for 32 inch- am also female though so hips come into it.

Great trousers, kept me very dry and comfortable this morning in deepest darkest Tameside.

Got a pair, as a bloke don’t size up. Even if your calves are bigger than your neck.

I’ve got a pair of those Spesh shoes and they’re ace. Mega grippy and look decent too.

Not tried in the wet yet though.

A few pairs of Boardman gloves half price in Halfords at the moment, just picked up a pair of the lightweight ones and a pair of the waterproof ones, feel nice quality for the reduced price. These weren’t marked down in store but did scan at the reduced price.

Our 2024 rental bikes are now available. We have Specialized Diverge Sport Carbon bikes available in all sizes from 49 to 61. These were brand new in mid March and have been used on average 8 times. They come fully serviced and can be collected from Cardiff or shipped.

Been deliberating a road bike

Merlin have entry level Felt VR bikes for cheap, i worked out it was actually pretty decent value to buy one nad upgrade if that’s your thing

they have a slightly cheaper boxed version too with a Felt own crank, i went for that as ill probably grab a used tiagra hydraulic groupset

I always thought if buying a touring frame I’d buy a disc brake version but the 725 Steel Touring Frameset (including headset) for £235 looked too good to miss.
