Dd don’t know how you managed that? As above I was offered the router for free as I’d also got one of the slim sagem grey (old) ones. Advised as router first then if no improvement ask for booster. Both foc. I’ll be asking for booster anyway as I’d like it to reach the garden if poss…

TBH those boosters probably have a range of 10m from where they’re located, judging by the similar one we have her in the office.

I phrased what i meant badly – what i meant was will these SKY boosters work with a standard router. And does anyone know what they are / who makes them / got a link to the same one without the SKY logo on it?

But thanks for the effort in taking the piss.

The website does say something along the lines of a skyhub or another Wireless N router so there’s a good chance they will work with anything.

I think its very similar to a TP Link TL-WR702N.

Set my new hub up a few days ago

I’m sure the connection is slower now 🙁

    any way to adjust settings?

i think the hub has less coverage, at least ours does. its in the same place as the old one but i struggle to get a strong signal in the kitchen whereas with the old sky router i did.

on the plus, if you have a new hub its super easy to convert your old sky sagcom wireless router to be a booster. i did it and have lovely wifi in my workshop now via a homeplug.

and if anyone has an old sagcom router they are planning to bin i can give it a good home!
