The superstar torque wrenches are exactly the same as these £100 Pedros Torque Wrenches, good value at £25 indeed but remember to store it unwound and don’t force it further once you hear/feel the torque click

Hmmm i might has we’ll have my wages paid direct to superstar and on-one tbh.

If that’s as low as it goes, then yes Rik. Leaving them at a particular setting is not good for them, when I worked on aircraft engines, FAA auditors liked to check out TR’s, if they were left on toolboards at a setting, they’d pull you up, as it meant that the thing had the potential to under torque.

Yep, exactly that or just below the 2nm setting.

And before you use the wrench for the first time i suggest you wind it up to 14nm and exercise it perhaps 3 or 4 times to the full torque capacity before use, and when applying a set torque to a bolt/stud/nut it is always preferable to pull the wrench towards you * .

Also the same as the BBB one that goes for a slightly more reasonable £45.

I am tempted to get one of these, but my Ritchey torque key does most of the things I would want torquing up.

There’s something wrong with superstar’s emailing- I got a dispatch email the morning after I ordered my wheels, and then another one a week later when it was actually dispatched

I ummed and arred for long enough for it to go out of stock.

Not sure how I feel, to be honest.
