Something I’ve never thought about in 17 years of owning and riding bikes with disc brakes.

    Get on your bike.
    Ride it.
    Pull brakes.
    Rust goes.

Do you wire wool your cars discs after thats been stood for a day or so at this time of year?

The brake pads? If the brake pads don’t touch it then I’m not sure it’s worth doing anything about.

    Outside edges of discs.

No, those discs have a thick coating of rust, but I love my bike and I want it to look pretty. Who want’s to ride something ugly, you only do that after beer….

if you have bad enough rust on your bike rotors to warrent doing something about it – i suggest riding it more and looking at it less. wont get as rusty that way.

When clean, add some GT85 to stop them rusting again
