Anyone done such a thing? Day loops, hut to hut, whatever you’ve got, tell me all!

Not all east, but I’ve used them in Davos, St Moritz and Verbier.  The timetables are pretty easy to find and apparently you can now reserve a bike space online.  Obviously they turn up on time and equally obviously, they can cost a few ££.

A half price season ticket costs CHF 170 – might be worth getting if you need a long distance journey on top of the day to day stuff. When are you thinking of going? The winter weather is coming. Biking, hiking or sking?

In summer the bike transport on bus and train is easy, as above book a train place online and bike racks on the back of the bus (in winter ski transport).

Toggenberg is okay for hiking but not much biking, Graubunden is highly recommended for everything.
