Looked nothing like the sitters and the hands are effing ginormous.

Either of the other 2 would have been worthy winners.

We woz robbed.

But his commission was brilliant.

Watched five minutes, did the chap who made them look like like melting gargoyles win? Was surprised at the calibre of the three finalists compared with some of those  in the earlier rounds.

As Tai said -the world is full of safe portraits. All 3 finalists were amazing, but good to see something interesting win.

Yes, copper and bronze both the sitters and commission were lovely.
