Been out for a ride this morning on my Heckler with coil rev’s up front which I think are great(I only do xc in the chilterns with the odd trip to Wales). But my mate has just got himself a spesh enduro with there own triple clamps on the front with bolt through axle,I made the mistake of having a ten minute ride and could not belive how solid/tight/rigid the forks were compared to the front end on my bike the worked great and well the just felt really good! Now do all bolt through fork’s(ie Pike’s)feel this good over a qr? Or is it because they are triple clamp?
I run pro 2 hub’s so the change would be easy(if you all convince me ther that good!!)
    Thanks in advance

Can’t compare them to triple clamps, but my Pikes are noticeably better tracking than QR forks, yes.

A 20mm axle will always me much more solid than QR, however there are other factors as well, stanchion diameter and wall thickness, etc.
