EDIT: that’s a pretty good playlist, huws. Nice to know people are still listening to Dr. John, who is officially a god. His Remedies record is another recommendation, if you’re into that old-school New Orleans thing…

Only know a little about Dr John, one of those artists i’ve always known about but never investigated fully. I’ll queue Remedies up for after lunch.

if we are going slightly off piste can i recommend this Walter Gibbons – Jungle Music some of the finest disco you’ll ever encounter. Magic Bird of Fire is a particular high point.

Ooh disco – good call. Headphones out, that’s my afternoon sorted. Ta!
