    cheers! The bottom one is my fave though, probably because it depicts the trail more

    The composition’s lovely, perhaps just needs a just more on the exposure?

    I got yet another old TV lens to play with. The light wasn’t good but I’m pleased with the results.

    -Tom-, Crewlie, great photos (especially liking the light on those lambs) :D JohnClimber – what a fantastic set of pics – what are you using to get them?

    Here’s one of Kasper my dog, taken in the home studio earlier. Mostly just a technical exercise to try shooting a white subject against a white background…

    And here’s the lighting setup;

    Also used a NDx8 (!) filter so I could keep the apperture wide open (either f2.8 or f4 IIRC in the photo above). Gave me a bit of a magenta cast, even though it’s a half decent Hoya Pro filter – no worries though – easily corrected in Lightroom.

    @ user-removed – doesn’t all that stuff get in the way of the telly a bit? :-)

    Nice pics though, lovely dog.

    I like the bokeh and the natural capture of the nerves. I am also proud of my girlfriend doing the swim.

    Did a bit of work for a local pub/restaurant :) I’m starting to build up a nice little varied porfolio actually. Definitely prefer doing stills to video.
