Those steps are here, good descent, but better with a fair bit of space between people.

I believe I once rode over someone who’d fallen off at the bottom.

Doesn’t surprise me… I once overtook a relative of a certain Mr Craig down there once, but i’m sure he was just being nice. I doubt it will ever happen again.

The meeting point will be just across the road from the train station in Edale.

Getting there might be an issue – you;ll have to check the train times and costs, it’s not cheap as it crosses the border into derbyshire

nbt checked on the train fair and I can get a wayfare ticket for £10.00

Hey up – will the ride be OK for a dveloping beginner possibly accompanied by somewhat less of a beginner who is on the long haul back from an ankle op (me!) ?

Can I forecast the route? I’ll write it down now and put it in a sealed envelope to be opened at the end of the ride 😉

Steel4Real – how beginnner? We aim to be welcoming and you’ll both get loads of support and encouragement from the troops.

We’ll be doing about 15 miles in the peaks with some technical stuff and a couple of biggish climbs – if you know the area you’ll know what you’re in for!
In fact – it’s this kind of stuff (‘scuse the quality)…
