Johnson is the perfect showman to try and restore confidence in our international trade efforts, as vacuous as anythhig it might achieve actually is. hopefully keeping markets happy and stable

Davies is a fall guy, an impossible task hes not got the personality t pull off

Hammond, apart from not liking cycling http://road.cc/content/news/159999-transport-secretary-wanted-get-rid-cycling-dft-function-says-ex-appcg-co-chair

His expertise in expenses maxing and tax dodging should cover in handy for the treasurery. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/millionaire-tory-philip-hammonds-200-3231876

He would certainly be good at the schmoozing and entertaining of foreign despots/arms dealers/big businesses and so on.

My German colleagues have nearly wet themselves laughing at BoJo being foreign secretary. There will be endless meetings about wiffwaff and ‘flag waving picaninnies’ no doubt.

He’s presented himself as a court jester. He’s going to be received as one and treated as such.

A cabinet made up of global buffoon, a cash for questions minister, tax dodgers, expenses maximisers all with virtually no global experience of business or politics what on earth could go wrong! No one globally is or will take this lot seriously- Mark Carney will be out on his ear next due to his ability to keep banks on a short lead… jobs about knackered

In a way giving those roles to prominent Breixteers is a shrewd move.

“You made this mess, here, you sort it out”.

It also keeps the right wingers off her back, and she can point the finger of blame when if it all goes wrong

It’s a very shrewd move! If it works, she’s the PM and wins. If it goes wrong she’s got the perfect people to blame.

BoJo is a genius appointment by May. Seriously. You actually don’t want a decent Foreign Secretary if you want Brexit to fail to the point you can go to the electorate and say ‘hey this just isn’t working’.

She’s also just given him a great long piece of rope to ensure he is never ever able to challenge her in the future.

Had she left him out in the wilderness he would have chance to recharge and regroup and cause mischief and mayhem from the sidelines.

She knows he’ll be crap and wants him to be crap. This way he’s dead and buried and can be blamed for **** up our exit strategy. Once he’s well and truly finished she’ll sack him and get someone decent in.

    Don’t underestimate May…

And you lot think Boris et all have any staying power?

Bullshit, they’ll all resign this time next year having swanned around pretending to be important whilst wear colostomy bags and eating through straws.

They have form and past history in this.

She’s a canny Woman, May the Force be with her.

    This.

If it turns out Brexit is practical and a good thing, great. If closer scrutiny determines that Brexit is bat-shit mental then the Brexiteers will have to justify failing to exit to their own supporters.

May can take credit if it works, Boris et al take blame for canning it if it’s unworkable.

Gove is out of the cabinet. Rightly so after appalling behaviour post referendum.

Johnson has received many congratulations from around the world. He will be an outstanding Foreign Secretary. David Davis can deal with the EU, Johnson can focus on NATO and the rest of the world.

In Boris Johnson, Britain has appointed a liar with his back against the wall as its new foreign secretary at a time when somebody reliable is needed in the role, his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault said on Thursday.

Johnson campaigned successfully for Britons to vote to leave the European Union last month. In France, a founding EU member, he is seen as a key player in the departure and in the setback to European integration it represents.

“I am not at all worried about Boris Johnson, but… during the campaign he lied a lot to the British people and now it is he who has his back against the wall,” said Ayrault on Europe 1 radio.

I think only Tony Abbot has congratulated Borris
    which says an awful lot
