I’m thinking about an 11 Pro Max. The price is obscene. But nearly two years ago I put 450 down and paid £45 a month for an iPhone X. Now I could sell the X for the £450 I paid as a deposit again and then just pay around the same £45 a month for the next two years. Which doesn’t seem too unreasonable I guess.

My biggest gripe was that I dropped it and broke the screen a few months after I had it. I had to pay Apple nearly £270 to fit a new one. Which is insanely obscene.

I love these threads – always bring out the know-it-all holier-than-thou tendency (yes, I know – me too)

Sky are the cheapest for the new iPhones*

£43 a month gets you iPhone 11 pro with unlimited calls/texts and 10gb data.

*after 2 years you can hand it back and upgrade or pay around £180 to keep handset.

Yes probably same cost as other contracts but lower monthly cost suits me.

    5G

No not this time I’d guess they don’t think it’s necessary yet.

Apparently they don’t have a 5G modem – some problem with a supplier and then they started developing their own, but won’t be done till next year.
