Ooh, ooh, I just got one as well! I have 100mm SIDs on mine.

I also have 3 x 9, but think I’ll be transferring to your set up when I sell a few of the bits from my previous fs bike.

whats it like with sids on ? I put 120mm for more trail type riding …36t 22t is a good set up IMO 36t is slap in between a 32t and 42t triple

I haven’t ridden it properly yet!

The test bike had 120s on (recon’s, I think) and I didn’t use all the travel at Cwmcarn, and I got a good deal on this as it is, so I can put some 120’s on if I don’t get on with these.

I’m guessing it will climb well!

climbs well in my eyes really is a fast ride on the trails pedals well compared to my older 575 but then again it should with less travel 🙂

Bike looks fun, can’t beat a good single pivot, keep it simple. Colour scheme is good too.

BUT, the valves are not lined up with the logos on the tyres! 👿
And there apeears to be a bald patch on your lawn, just behind the front tyre.

Having a small love affair with mine again, after struggling through the glop for the last few month on it even run @ 115mm the head angle seemed super steep on slimey DH stuff. So switched back to my Prophet as soon ad it started to dry up. Bust suspension on the prophet @ the last moment meant I took my SL to afan/cwm carn over the last two days. I was flying (for me), even the guys I rode with (see em once ever couple of months) said I was quicker than on the prophet. I’d love some bolt thru 120’s on it but still believe it climbs better @ 100mm & dances through singletrack with more grace too @ that setting 😆 You’ll still have loads a fun though, enjoy.

Edit: where the front disc?!!! oops, doesn’t how up well on my mobile screen

Just put 120’s on my Superlight and it’s like a different bike on the downhills and I haven’t noticed any difference in the climbing other than it’s a little easier to lift the front wheel on step ups and over obstacles.

I had 10mm rebas on mine but was never happy until I found out it was possible to remove the spacers and make ’em 120mm.
Much better bike for it, IMHO go with 120mm
