It’s like UST tyres – squirt some sealant in and get it re-seated.
    Failing that, all the best.

Remember she not the first woman to have a baby.

Midwives will be over stretched and it’s not their fault.

I have experience of this very thing, smallest was 4 weeks early. As I recall, saying ‘you’ve probably just wet the bed’ and going back to sleep is not an acceptable response. Hope that’s useful to you.

Id probably start ignoring this forum and seeing to your wife for the next few hours! 😀

We had a little boy about 24 hours ago and the 7 hours after the waters breaking were pretty hectic! Good luck! 🙂

Not entirely true drac 😉 you went thereee maaaan! It could mean his child is hours away. It also means that from a medical point of view there is now a finite timescale till mini bullheart graces us with his/her presence!

It is true, it’s generally a 24 hour thing but not necessarily. However, with 4 weeks to go it needs checked over to make sure everything is fine. Sometimes it’s the other extreme that things are going to happen very soon.

Too many people think the waters breaking they have minutes, it’s not generally it hours.

Good luck! It is a great life defining moment.
My first was 10 days early; the second 10 days late.
I think yossarian is being optimistic with a lie in by 2016. Mine are 28 and 25 but they still wake me early. “We were on the way back from the club and thought you would be doing breakfast”

I did that to my favourite bike, but the bloody paint woon’t flipping come off. 😡

God it took some scraping, that did. Never again. Professional dip’n’strip next time.

I spose this means Bully won’t even have time to go and pick up any railway sleepers now.

    *Sigh*
