    Looking to get a new winter tyre (Shorty 2.5″ or DHR2 2.4″) and noticed they are ‘optimised for 35mm internal rims’.
    Anyone running them on 25mm IR as I’ve got EX471’s..

    I heard that on another tyre thread, seems bonkers to me – 35mm internal is huge for normal size tyres is it not?

    I’ve seen both run on 27 and 28 with no issues…

    Maxxis showed them off at launch on 26mm internal Enves

    They’re “optimised” for 35mm but would imagine perfectly usable on narrower ones. I have mine on 29mm
