2 sets of Louise brakes have seized up now – note to self to ride more – so I’ve moved over to some new XTs for the new toy.

i’ve got two sets of Magura rotors in 180 and 160 flavours – one set of venti rotors and one set of Marta wavey, spindly looking things. Will they work well enough with the XTs? I’d rather not shell out on new rotors!

It’s a flat, round bit of metal. Yes, it will work…
(I’m running 183mm Avid rotors with my XTs as they look nicer – using a few washers to space out the calliper!)

Also, yes, you will die at some point. I know this as a FACT!

When new, Magura rotors are [IIRC] 2mm thick. I think that might be .2mm thicker than Shimano. In theory you may encounter slight problems.

    But I doubt it.
