Hello, I have been "farting" around with the sag and pressure of the shock on my trance (4.2") one.

Has anyone got any wonder tips on setting the best sag for the maestro sus system, ie does it trapdoor at certain levels of sag or what.

Also, I have just fitted some nice revelations, they have travel adjust to 130mm, would anyone think (aside from ride characteristics) that having a slightly longer fork than reckomended would have any problems?

I am running it at 115mm which feels nice, but want to run it at 130mm for some stuff.

    Ta!

I adjust the sag depending on the riding im doing, I ride a Regin X0 so set it at 30% – 35% for freeriding and messing around and firmer 25% for xc antics / trial centres and keep the reservoir at 150psi and the pro pedal dialled in 7 clicks from closed

    haven’t ridden mine much but:

longer fork – yes, better I think

sag. I think I like mine with quite a lot, 25% minimum. They don’t really bob so you can run quite low pressures (but see thread on pedal-strike)
