I can center it to the axle clamps at closed position. If I then extrapolate that out to a 24″ wheel I then have to center it again.. same for 26, 27.5 and 29. Same size wheel with a 100qr vs a boost rear would also result in a different angle as the misalignment is more pronounced at the closed position.
So, for each wheelsize I’m working on I’d have needed a known properly dished wheel.. or build a jig to align the stand to each wheelsize and hub size.

I guess a quick check would be to set (center) the calipers to a wheel then flip the wheel around. See if its still aligned to the calipers.
