Someone on a cycling FB group is struggling to find a new helmet – think his current one is a Bell 63-68 cm but the biggest he or I can find on Google is 65 cm which he reckons might not be big enough. Anyone any other suggestions? TIA

I’m very large of swede and find large POC’s work well.

TLD XL are good for those of us with a long narrow head. As ever try before you buy s what feels good for a couple of minutes may feel like a vice afte 30 minutes.

Perhaps they could go to the trouble of measuring their head with a tape measure?

Giro, Bell and Specialized come up biggest in my experience, but a good fit is very dependent on head shape (round, narrow, etc) as well as just circumference!

If his head is genuinely bigger than 65cm then I reckon he has little chance.

Mine is 63cm and Giro is the only one that fits without hotknifing

I’ve got a ln XL Giro (Savant maybe) that fits my 63cm head with a thin woolly hat on in winter. I can pretty much squeeze into a large Giro otherwise.
