    Jasper in his favourite pose, half cocker half Lurcher. I think technically he’s a Tumbler? Far more agile than a lurcher but just as quick. He’s got the stamina of a Spaniel too.

    Ishka just after I asked her if she wanted to go for walkies. The only way I could describe her would be to say she’s autistic.

    They’re both rescue dogs, Ishka was feral, living wild on the Wyre forest, she escaped from the rescue centre and from our house. But now she seems happy enough to be in our pack.

    Hi CG, very kind of you to remember and ask. We still do the walks even though “my lovely boy” is only there in spirit.

    We are gonna try and find another rescue dog in 2012. There are so many out there that need a family.

    This is my Belle taken last summer. She will be fifteen at the start of March and is on really great form. As with many whippet/lurcher types she was a complete nutter for the first ten years.
