    everyone seems a bit down on forum, me included so lets have a picture thread

    im generally a bit down in the dumps about riding at the mo, give me some inspiration to get out there and enjoy the current mudfest!

    can be anything from frozen, snow, sleet, wet, muddy or even bone dry if your lucky to live in such a country where winter is now summer!

    Took the day off today and rode a cheeky trail, meant to be around 10-12 degrees but with the wind felt a lot colder, yes, Hong kong can get chilly to.

    I stopped at a dryer spot on Sunday and took a couple of pictures;

    other than the wind blowing me off my bike, getting wet and muddy and some of my favourite bits of singletrack becoming a slippery nightmare I had a great time 🙂

    I’m off out for some more tonight.

    Not many of those pictures reflect the reality of the winter riding that I do down here on the South coast 😉

    Liking the photos. Wishing we had some frozen trails, it’s a mud bath down here already.

    Nah.
    My very first pic, right up at the top, is Bolts Law, Northumberland/Co. Durham border

    First pic in the Cairngorms set however is south of Tomintoul heading up to Bealach Dearg, below Culardoch IIRC, towards Braemar

    Lammermuirs in East Lothian. What followed was the hike a bike of doom. ‘Drafting’ like polar explorers in each others footsteps through frozen snow. We all had cut and bruised shins three miles later.
