Depends on the company, but totally not true for the more reputable ones, fair comment for the other end of the spectrum.

Not true, depends on the contract they’ve signed, some companies will cap the number of PCNs that can be cancelled by the landowner, others will expect the landowner to pay instead if they want the PCN cancelled.

I’d pay it and get on with your life, your only real recourse is to push it to court and challange the legality of the contract in this case.

I wouldn’t.  Ask them to either drop it or take it to court. Can’t imagine a judge would be impressed with them wasting his time when Exhibit A of your defence is the parking company’s own photograph showing the landowner deliberately blocking your progress. Might even be inclined to imply that they’re stopping cars from progressing in order to generate income.

To be honest I think going to another fake appeal is a waste of time. You dispute their charge and the fake appeals company will just drag things out in the hope you pay up. These companies are the scum of the earth.

I’d send a recorded deliver reference to arkell vs pressdram as my only response to any future correspondence.

When it came to McDonald’s dodgy carpark cameras a response of ok let’s go to court* soon had them dropping it.

* Unknown to them I had dashcam footage and alibis plus recorded race results and parking tickets for being else where during the alleged.

Parking appeals are a joke. I got a Penalty Notice, it was online payment at thr car park, I left the car park at 17.05, couldnt pay as I had no signal, eventually paid at 17.28. And got a PCN later, I appealed, even giving them a screenshot of my bank statement with the payment highlighted, but they still said I hadnt paid. It was £30, so i just paid it, but if I had time, I should have waited for it to go to Court.
