I have subs to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky Box Sets…but can’t seem to find GoT there.

    Anywhere else that’s streaming legally?

    Thanks

I just signed up for a free Now TV trial, but the only appear to have a few episodes in S6….unless they are hidden away somewhere?

I think that NowTV only goes back a few weeks after a show is broadcast.

I paid for Seasons 1-5 on Google Play and am impatiently waiting for Season 6 to be released.

Anyone know when Season 6 will be available on Google Play (or Amazon video?)

Blu-Ray out the question? Saninburys were doing 1-5 for £41 the other day.

I’d rather not buy the physical media…

Perhaps I could look at second hand.

Sky were doing it but I guess with the newest series just finished they’ve taken it off to flog some DVDs

Lovefilm by post is still about, £6 a month I think, it’s been a few years – they can send you the Blurays if you don’t select anything else they should arrive pretty quickly, they may have a free trial you can use. Series is usually split over 4 discs, be careful to remove any ‘extras’ discs.

It’s very good and you won’t get a better version than Bluray (if you have a player).

To be honest if you’re new to the party £41 is pretty bloody good for 5 seasons. In fact £41 quid is worth it for one particular viper episode.

BBC 1 or Channel 4 news seem to be covering it quite well. First the pig fiddler was lead down a blind ally by the loud mouthed prat with the purple and yellow coat of arms. He got ambushed there by his good mates the fat lad with yellow hair and beady looking one. Just when it looked like the fat lad would claim the iron karzi the beady looking one stabbed him in the back. He’s now squaring up to a cold looking crone who stood by pig fiddler. Meanwhile the loud mouthed prat is crowing about how clever he is, surely about to get his comeuppance?

Buy them on eBay, then sell them when you are done

Be sure to pick a favourite character and become emotionally invested in them.
Nothing bad could happen to them, right?

The trade on eBay in box sets is good so you’d be able to buy a box set, binge watch it and sell it on for what you bought it for. That’s what I do anyway.

I really think if people can afford stuff, they should really buy it.

Although I will concede it’s partly the rights holders fault for not allowing legal methods to stream the content.

As soon as the industry realises that people are lazy and will obtain media in whatever way is easiest they’ll make their money, they just have to make paying for it there easiest way.

Anyone got a source for a decent subtitles file*? AIUI you need subs as there’s some made up language used in GoT, would prefer just subs for that rather than have english subs constantly on screen when, presumably, it’s only actually needed for just a few scenes.

*I’m presuming this isn’t actively encouraging any sort of infringement, apologies if it “crosses the line”

If the alternative is giving money to Sky then the is the morally correct choice too.

That Oatmeal is exactly my point – make it easier to obtain legally & watch people actually pay for it.

Except its not difficult to buy it legally. £46 for seasons 1-5 box set off amazon.
