Lake District route recommendations

Just to check, I have been working on the basis that climbing up Grizedale from the top of Whinlatters South loop was the thing but Stevedoc says the North Loop, who’s right?

I have been up there but we came from the Gasgale Crag direction.

It’s the South Loop summit for Grisedale Pike, you see a small track heading off towards the ridge from the highest point.

Thanks Martin, I was there the other week with the family so nipped up and over the stile to have a nosey.
