    Mboy, that is a lovely looking bike, just perfect.

    There is an unfortunate plan hatching in my head now for one of these with a pair of those new upside down forks…

    Dear Kinesis Maxlight Sync ti experts,

    I am a Dutch mountainbiker and just bought a new Kinesis Maxlight Sync ti frame.

    My question is the following:

    Which type of rear axle should I use. I bought a KCNC X-12 (142×12), but it doesn’t fit. It seems to be to short (not long engough to reach the hole in the Pivot-Direct Mount Derailleur Hanger). Furthermore, the thread of the KCNC axle seems to be different from the thread in the Derailleur Hanger.

    Who can help me?

    Anyone still riding the Sync?

    Thinking about a wheel upgrade for mine. Light bicycle 38mm carbon rims. Riding Spes Purgatory/Butcher currently 2.3s. Will these still fit?
