    Hi,

I’ve used my kickr core with zwift on an android tablet or phone for 2 years with no issues. I installed a recent fireware update and suddenly it whilst zwift would detect the trainer and connect it would not produce any cadence or power data. I contacted wahoo who replaced the kickr under warranty.

New Kickr Core, fire it up, update software, spindown complete, log into zwift. Same issue. It will connect and work with the wahoo software and mywoosh but not with zwift. Any ideas?

Tried to contact zwift but very unresponsive.

I did a firmware update on mine the other week and it’s not doing anything like that, which suggests it’s unlikely to be an issue with the firmware update itself.

Have you tried connecting it on both Bluetooth and Ant+?

I don’t have an ant+ dongle and my tablet wouldn’t support that I wouldn’t think. I could try it with a laptop and get a dongle. Just seems strange it does not need ant+ to work with wahoo or mywoosh

Have you tried on a laptop through Bluetooth? Is it a limitation on the number of channels available, you could try pairing through your phone, the same as for the apple TV functionality/bodge/workaround?

Strangely connecting on the laptop via my phone worked but I don’t know why.

I had a similar issue with a Kickr Core / Zwift setup about a month ago, where the connection was being made but no power or cadence.  Wahoo gave me detailed support, and in parallel I’d worked out that everything was working with an alternative to Zwift.

It was probably a Zwift software update on my iPhone (which I run Zwift Companion on) that caused it the issues.  I solved it by following all instructions from Zwift support to the letter, specifically solving it when I connected power > resistance > cadence in that order.

I’ll give this a try, thanks
