    I did wonder if it might be a bit small. I’ll take some photos tomorrow anyway.

    EDIT: my son is probably around 5ft8 so I’ll try and get him to sit on it to check for sizing. He’s not interested in riding, hence why I’ll be selling it.

    Managed to get her to stretch the budget to £250 to get the Carerra Parva. Looks like a safe bet 🙂

    My first “mountain” bike 30 years ago was the Apollo Atomic. If you accept them for what they are then they will do a job just fine. I was about 14 when I had mine and covered countless miles with nothing other than normal tyre/cables/brakes/chains needing changed.
    Like others I would avoid suspension models.
