I reckon the OP has some special interest equipment in his front room, and had forgotten to close the curtains when the car came past.

I’ve located the OP’s house and it seems you are correct:

Our garage was open at the time and you can see two cycles and a classic car, plus tools etc.

Sounds like a good reason to blur, unlike just being an like to see where the front door is. Garage is open on ours but you can’t really ser inside so apart from maybe a blurred BSO certainly nothing to excite. I might be worriedabout the two kayaks you can see, but they’re not all that obvious and are in the satellite shot anyway (apart from them being difficult to move and pretty much worthless to a thief)

All you can see of my house is the garage. I might get it blurred out. Or maybe an Oasis mural.

Right, I have just had my house blurred.

….well, I have just smeared the windows with vaseline to be honest.

I’ve had eight whiskies after dinner, my house is nicely blurred now.

There was a thing online a while ago about a bloke who’d made a fairly simple program that trawled data and matched people’s details up to FB posts and other information that they had put online (twitter feeds etc.). Basically it came up with a database of who they are, where they live and when they are going to be on holiday.

I know of somebody who did that at Uni only it was compiling facebook profiles from Tinder. Very easy apparantly, just needs a bot to constantly request info and you get it all eventually.

    That’s fair enough!
