@bentandbroken thanks, that’s a new one. Not full easy access but ideal for tucking a lump away pending a house purchase.

    0 for me
So much for the increased prizes, not enough to outdo my bad luck.
Perhaps my luck is just building up for a mega sack win.

    6 prizes for £250 Yay

You must have got mine by accident. Nowt again. Getting a bit cheesed off now, only seen £25 in 18mths on £12k’s worth and an extra £100 every month. Must be the inner gambler in me that won’t withdraw them and put in an interest account, “next month I’ll win a decent prize” and it never happens.

Nothing for me this month… On £25k invested! 🤦🏻

Especially hunhelpful as I’ve been on SSP for 8 weeks now and gonna have to start taking money out to be able to pay the bills… A nice win would have helped nicely!

    £25.
First win since July, but I did get three that time

I made millions in premium bonds and lost it all at the track. Ach!

Nearly a year with nearly five figures and still not a penny. Hope my luck is better with the MegaSack.

In reality doing the premium bonds costs me £50 a month.

£150 for me, and £50 for Mrs Lawman this month.
That makes a total of £1600 between the pair of us for the year as a whole, which is exactly 1.6% return (yes, we’re fortunate enough to have the max holding each)

PB’s go up to 3% annual equivalent as of 1st Jan, thats good news. Income Bonds went up to 2.32%AER immediately.

3% on average, which leaves me 0% thanks to my luck!

I still remember a night at the dogs for a friend’s birthday. Last race of the night and I hadn’t won a thing, but with £5 left I put £1 (last of the big spenders) each on the 5 best odds. If any of them were 1st, 2nd or 3rd I’d have lost money but at least ‘won’ a bet. 8 in the race, my 5 finished 4th-8th!

£50 for me and £50 for my wife

£175 for me on top of £100 last month, which is nice.

Not so nice is looking back and working out that prizes for last year only amounted to an effective interest rate of 1.1%. Even an easy access account would be accruing 1.5x that with current interest rates.. so I may jump ship.

Frogstomp..our friends won a 100k which means they can retire 5 years early.

Bugger all. Hmm. Last win was September of last year and prior to that I was winning 10 months out of 12.

£75 here. Return is about 2.3% since July when we opened them, so doing ok but still losing money in real terms.

Nothing for me again. Giving me a total return on 10k over a year of zilch% or £sweetFA

Absolutely cock all. Brings my % equivalent return to 2.4%. not terrible but readily bettered now by an instant access account.

Nothing for me again. That’s the second month in and zero return. I knew it was a short term holding account for me, but I was hoping for some kind of return…

For some reason, I really thought I was going to get a significant win this month. I got a whopping £25.

‘Just’ £125 at Chez Lawman this month. It’s weird how your expectations change when the payout (ie interest) rate has risen, and £125 seems like a bit of a letdown if hoping for more.

I got £25, which is only the 2nd £25 in 18 months on £12k. I’ve pulled half now to put elsewhere, ironically reducing my odds of a win further but at least guaranteeing a return on some of it.

Mrs Dubs & I both got £125 this month, I think that brings us back up to “just about in line” with the prize rate, haven’t done the sums recently though.

£100 this month. Had a couple of no wins the past 6 months but take the (lack of) tax into account and I’m at 2.84%.

    Nothing…

    Again! The 3rd month in a row…

    On £25k invested!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

That about sums my luck up sadly…

    3 prizes for £1050 Yay

We’ve had x4 £25 wins in the last year on 10k.

Does anyone really look at them as investments? I look at them as a safe place to keep some money – but – with a chance (slim!) to win a large chunk of cash I’d never be able to earn. Like the Lottery but without losing my stake.

going up to 3% for the next draw, although a lot of that is the bigger prizes, as the number of £5k plus prizes have tripled.
(rise in 50 and 100 prizes but a reduction in £25)

    I’ll be happy with £25.
Skimming through the high value winners I haven’t won anything big.

There’s a couple of decent prizes in London with the same value of Bonds as me.

I’m trying not to get too excited.

Nothing for me this month but just had an email from the local gastropub saying I’d won the £50 monthly voucher for being on their mailing list. I was hoping to win the autotader Tesla but that will have to do.
