Well, today i was working at a house ( i’m an electrician) and no-one was at home except the daughter… Anyway, i got chatting to her, and she turned out to be very nice, preety and intelligent girl.

Normally, i would have asked if yshe would care to go for a drink or something sometime, but as she is a customers daughter, would this be like opening a can of worms? FOr the record im 22 she is 19. I dont think her parents hate me yet…

So anyone done this, or any parent s hwo would be really pissed of if someone asked their daughter on a date?

Not at all. Your only doing a spot-job. Not an ongoing bit of work. Plus even if you were- whats wrong with that? Go for it.

If I was a parent I’d be piffed off if an unemployed slacker asked my daughter out (hypothetical of course) but not a hardworking skilled lad.

Remember- ask her out, dont ask her parents for permission otherwise you’ll turn her off.

22 going on 45. **** ell. I wouldnt even ask this question. She would have been asked by now and i’d be grinning like a Cheshire cat.

From the porn I have seen any of workmen are pretty much obliged to have sex with daughters/wives, so don’t let the side down.

Hora; take the infantile tags down, mate. A fairly mature post, for you, but the tags let you down… 🙄

Lyons; you’re roughly the same age, so I can’t see owt wrong. You’re asking her out, not her dad.

As mentioned, might be an idea to get paid for the job first…

Yeah, well im back there tomorrow… Its funny really but the opportunity to take her picture just didnt seem to come up.

I was just unsure if this may be one of those ‘Serious breaches of Contract’ that it says i can get sacked for…

I know that would be a preety extreme case, and i dont intend to stalk her or anything of the type…

Moe – that is a myth. I have met 2 people who actually claim to have shugged a customer. And a few who had an old biffer come on to the.

If you fancy her, then do something about it! Nothing ventured…

Praps try to show a little more respect to her, as a woman, than some individuals on here… 🙄

Check with your boss first(if you’re employed), he can’t technically do anything to stop you but may cause bad customer relations……you could just speak with her parents and be as bold as to ask them if she’s seeing anyone as you’d like to take her out…..

That will deal with all possible problems.

It’s postively encouraged where I work

The boss is up 5-2 so far

The employee count is an all score draw 1 a piece

The boss does however get extra bonus points for 2 angry husbands in the shop

Well her names Joe, and you allready know her age… She’s very athletic, and loves playing with wood and balls.

WHat more do you need to know?

What more do you need to know?

Whether she’s lying about her age.

Just spark up a conversation with her, and she what she says, you never know she might like the idea.

way back when, we lived in a village that had its own butcher’s shop. Butcher’s youngest lad was 2 years older than my sister, who would stop by the shop every now & again on her way home from school.

He would ask here out every time she stopped in the shop, and every time got a rebuff. Definitely “asking out a customer’s daughter”.

Eventually she gave in. She married him. Then they emigrated to Canada & had 3 kids of their own.
    Then they divorced.

I’ve no idea what happened to him, whether he’s still in Canada, or whether he came home. Couldn’t care less either.

Sis is getting married again this summer & I’m off to Canuckland for my jollies 🙂
