    Is there an app for indoor rowing which will sync the activity to Strava? I know i can do rowing as a manual entry, but i’m wanting to track heart rate as well.

    If you gave a Garmin watch some have a rowing function too should be able to link that I’d have thought.

    Just buy a Powercal HR monitor and use a concept 2. Outputs heart rate and estimated power based on rates of chage in HR. Bluetooth for iOS app is available. Strava sell it on their website and recommend it as their easiest entry option.
