i’ve been told it’s pretty much essential when racing cat1/2 (don’t ask me why) You’d be hard pushed to find anyone racing at that level with hairy legs I reckon.
I’m under no impression it’s a performance benefit. Purely aesthetics
if that’s what floats your boat 😉 personally there is no other form of cycling that comes close to mountain biking.you can totally get away from civilization,see landscapes,wildlife,riding with people from mtb forums.i would be lost without my anthem x2 😀
Waxing doesn’t really hurt, of course it depends on your definition of pain but I’ve been having it done for a few years now and its really is a pleasure.
