    There are more tigers in captivity in Texas than wild in the rest of the world.

    in the entire U.S. maybe? a quick google suggests 5,000 in captivity in the US compared with just under 4,000 in the wild…still an astonishing thought though.

    I thought that was a myth? Old glass is thicker at the bottom due to an immature manufacturing process?

    There are more plastic flamingos in the world than real living flamingos.

    Not particularly amazing when you think there are more plastic dinosaurs on my desk than there are living dinosaurs in the entire world.
