Indeed it was a shameful and such a hurtful reaction to a city and to a people who had just seen their fathers, their mothers and their children die

It was their fault, they were pissed, they robbed the dead, they urinated on them etc

Oh and the sun can **** right off as well and kelvin the ****

Reality is we’ve know for years the main causes (the rozzers), which is why stadium were changed, and why the relatives of the 96 have had to repeatedly hammer at closed doors to get to where we are now, i.e. the main cause admitting to being the main cause.

Each time we have one of these threads, I understand a little more why having the media that we do can completely distort public opinion.

One of my best friends was at Hillsborough with his dad & brother. He was at Leppings Lane when they opened the gate & in his opinion they had to. He said it was just luck that they didn’t end up in the pens where people died or were injured.

Some of the posters above would do themselves more justice by taking the time to read into it all a bit more, including some of the previous semi & quarter finals that were held there.

As for the admission not meaning or changing anything, try looking someone in eye who lost someone there & telling them that.

Putting all the football aspect of it to one side, for the families to fight against the establishment for 25 years for an inquiry that should have been held at the time should at least deserve some respect.
